In order for AirParrot to successfully connect to your HomePod, you will need to make sure you've given the correct AirPlay permissions on the HomePod. To do this, follow the steps below.
Step 1
Launch the Home app on your iPhone or iPad Home screen.
Step 2
Tap on the Home button, then tap Home Settings.
Step 3
Tap on Allow Speaker Access in the Speakers section.
Step 4
Tap on:
- Everyone to allow unfettered access.
- Anyone on the Same Network to allow anyone who is on your local Wi-Fi network.
Step 5
Tap on Require Password if you want additional security.
Step 6
Tap the Password to change it.
